Abbey Division
Is named after Selby Abbey. This lovely cruciform church dedicated to St Mary and St Germaine is all that remains of a Benedictine Monastery which was founded in 1069. Its familiar shape dominates the town of Selby but a less well known view is used on our standard.
Abbey Division in the South, centering on Selby and including villages around it, Riccall, Cawood, Skipwith, Barlby, Hambleton, Kellington, Monk Fryston and Whitley Bridge.
