Rangers meet in units to plan and carry out activities of their choice from as many of the Senior Section programme opportunities as they want.

Young Leaders are aged 14 to 18 and work with a Rainbow, Brownie or Guide unit. They might be working towards their Young Leader Qualification or the adult Leadership scheme, as well as participating in other Senior Section opportunities. They are supported by a Young Leader Leader and link with other members of the Senior Section when they choose.
Download 'Supporting Information for Units with a Young Leader' here.

Young adult Leaders are aged 18 to 26 and are working towards or have completed their adult Leadership Qualification. They work with Rainbow, Brownie, Guide or Senior Section units. They are supported by their appropriate Commissioner and can take part in Senior Section opportunities when they choose.

Lone Senior Section members work with Rainbow, Brownie, Guide or Senior Section units. They are supported by their District Commissioner and can take part in Senior Section opportunities when they choose.

Lone Senior Section members work on part of the Senior Section programme but are not part of a unit or Look Wider group. They are supported by their District team.

In4mers have undergone the Basic or Refresher training and use peer education skills.

Girlguiding UK members currently studying at college or university can be part of the Student Scout and Guide Organisation (SSAGO). There are groups at many universities in the UK, or you can be a lone member if there is no group at your place of higher education.

Young Commissioners or Advisors and Trefoil Guild members under the age of 26 can choose to participate in any of the Senior Section opportunities available.
